Sterilization Protocol

Office Sterilization Protocols

When you come into our Newnan office, your health and safety are our biggest priorities. That’s why we take all the proper precautions and enforce CDC-recommended protocols to protect you while you are in our care. The levels of sanitation and sterilization used here will ensure you receive the best treatment in a safe environment.

We take your health and safety seriously, so we strictly follow protocols to ensure all dental instruments and surfaces in our office are sterilized thoroughly between patient appointments.

How We Prioritize Your Wellbeing

All our team members at Newnan Periodontics and Dental Implants in Newnan are extensively trained to protect you with procedures recommended by the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA), the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

We enforce the following sterilization and safety procedures:

  • Requiring gloves and face masks for clients and staff
  • Locating sinks with disinfectant hand soap throughout the office
  • Using disposable materials when possible
  • Cleaning countertops and surfaces with EPA-approved chemical disinfectants
  • Sterilizing equipment before and after each use

These practices are recommended by the CDC, and we strive to keep you as healthy as possible while you are at our office.

We care

When you come to our office, you will see our team members actively practicing these procedures, from wearing gloves and masks to sterilizing all surfaces before, during and after your appointment.

We regularly update our sterilization protocols with guidance from the American Dental Association and the CDC. We are here to answer any questions you have regarding how we protect you from bacteria, diseases and viruses.

Dr. Gil, Stevie, and the entire team are simply PHENOMENAL!! They are well informed about not only dental care but also have a wealth of knowledge about the root causes of issues that are connected to dental health. I highly recommend this group to anyone who is looking for an excellent periodontist!

Dr Gil is the ultimate professional. She explained everything in terms I could understand. I was nervous for no reason. Staff friendly and helpful . Rest assured, you will be in good hands with whatever dental treatment you may be having.

We had an incredible experience with the whole team. I knew right away when the receptionist was so personable and friendly we were in the right place. Dr Gil has so much compassion and patience for her patients, and takes the time to help you understand the process. Will use her for any future needs.

Best dental experience I have ever had! Dr. Gil and Miss Cindy always make me feel welcome and special, like I am their only patient. And they are always caring, listen to my concerns and have helped me save some teeth. And Stephanie and the rest of the staff up front are great too. Can’t recommend them enough!
