Dr. Mindy Gil is excited to provide periodontal support in Newnan, GA. After completing her bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience at Johns Hopkins University, she continued her studies at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine (HSDM) for her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.
Following her passion for the oral-systemic link of our health, she pursued her studies and earned a specialty certificate in periodontology and a Doctor of Medical Science in Oral Biology (DMSc) from HSDM. She is a board-certified diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology.
She received extensive training in all aspects of preserving the supporting structures of teeth, and reconstructive dentistry with a special emphasis on biological and esthetic aspects of implant dentistry.
Her philosophy on dentistry revolves around the preservation of health and prevention of disease in connection with whole-body wellness. Dr. Gil is dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality, and personalized dental care for each patient. In her pursuit of overall wellness, she is committed to lifelong continuing education, often working together with many healthcare professionals from different backgrounds.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Kevin, and their three children, Daniel, Claire, and Zachary.
